TreeSense Specialist Partnership

More than just a tree assessment

Für Baumkontrolle und Planung mit Sensorik aus einer Hand

Tree expertise meets data

The TreeSense professional partnership is aimed at professionals who want to assess trees not only based on experience, but also using clear measurement data. As a tree inspector, expert, arborist, or landscape architect, you can expand your range of services to include digital tree sensor technology without having to become an IT service provider yourself.

In practice, many decisions in green space maintenance are still made without objective data: irrigation routes, young tree care, construction site trees, or weakened old trees—it often remains unclear how the tree is really doing. This leads to unnecessary irrigation costs, long-term damage due to drought stress, and discussions with clients, administrators, or politicians.

This is exactly where the TreeSense specialist partnership comes in: they combine their expertise with continuous measurement data from trees and soil to reveal drought stress, location problems, and irrigation requirements. This results in well-founded recommendations that you can classify professionally and translate into terms that your customers can understand.

Your advantage as a specialist partner

As a TreeSense specialist partner, you get access to our sensor technology—such as TreeSense Pulse, soil moisture, or dendrometer sensors—and to the TreeSense Cloud. There you can see drought stress and moisture conditions in near real time, compare locations, tree species, and measures, and see whether irrigation or other interventions are really working.

For you, this means: You can sharpen your profile as a digital tree expert in your region, open up new types of projects such as monitoring, irrigation optimization, or long-term observation, and back up your recommendations with reliable data instead of just logs and photos. At the same time, we provide you with technical support, webinars, and materials so that you can confidently integrate TreeSense into your existing processes.

Local authorities and building owners benefit from a strong local contact—namely you—and a proven digital solution that is already in use in numerous projects and cities across Europe. Gut decisions become transparent, documentable decisions that can be convincingly justified to internal stakeholders and the public.

Benefit from our support in selection, setup, and data evaluation in your first project.

    Where TreeSense is strongest

TreeSense is suitable for all projects in which you want to verify rather than simply guess at the condition of trees or soil. Typical applications include optimizing irrigation for new and young plantings, monitoring weakened or valuable old trees, protecting trees during construction, conducting site and stress analyses, and conducting research and pilot projects in which drought stress, growth responses, or the effects of measures need to be documented in a comprehensible manner.

How we support you in your first year

At the beginning, we will work with you to define a suitable use case during an introductory meeting and start with a manageable pilot project that can be easily integrated into your daily work routine. In the onboarding webinar, we will show you the TreeSense Cloud step by step, assist you in selecting and setting up the sensors, and evaluate the initial data with you so that you feel confident in handling the measurement results. Throughout the year, we remain in close contact, discuss interim results, adjust the setup as needed, and support you in integrating TreeSense into further projects and offerings. This way, your routine grows with each project—without you having to know "everything" from the start.

Use sensors – without building up inventory

As a specialist partner, you don't need to build up your own sensor inventory. You can borrow our sensors for specific projects and include the complete service—including sensor technology, software access, and evaluation—as a service item in your offering. For your customers, it feels like a comprehensive package of monitoring and consulting, while you work flexibly with rented hardware in the background and do not tie up capital in stock. This makes it easy to get started and reduces the risk of testing new service components in your portfolio.

Stay up to date as a specialist partner

Our specialist partners not only receive training at the outset, but also ongoing support. They have regular access to webinars in which we present specific practical use cases, go through typical questions, and explain new features in the TreeSense Cloud. They also benefit from networking opportunities, as we compile experiences from ongoing projects and share best practices that they can directly apply to their own jobs. This allows you to gradually develop into the first point of contact for data-based tree care in your region.

    TreeSense Specialist Partnership
Does the specialist partnership cost anything?

Registration as a TreeSense specialist partner is free of charge. Costs are only incurred if you use sensor technology and cloud access for specific projects. This allows you to test the model at your leisure and only invest once you are actively using it.

Can I start with a small pilot project?

Yes. Most specialist partners start with a clearly defined pilot project, for example with a few sensors on selected trees or locations. This allows them to get to know TreeSense in operation and then expand the concept in a targeted manner.

Will I receive inquiries from my region via TreeSense?

If municipalities or building owners in your region inquire about TreeSense and match your profile, we will give you priority in project development. This means you not only benefit professionally from the network, but also from additional project opportunities.

Do I need to buy my own sensors?

No. As a specialist partner, you can borrow sensors for individual projects and pass on the entire service—including sensors, software access, and evaluation—to your customers as a service item. You don't tie up capital in hardware and remain flexible.
